Joel is the Co-Managing Director and Co-founder of Frontier Global Underwriting Limited. With over 15 years’ industry experience spanning the Australian, Asian and UK markets, Joel is a specialist in the liability classes of Directors & Officers and Professional Indemnity. Joel has been employed by four of the world’s largest global insurers in roles spanning underwriting, portfolio management and executive management. Most recently Joel held the position of Head of Asia Pacific for Financial Lines business for a specialised Lloyd’s syndicate based in Singapore. Joel holds an undergraduate degree in Criminology and post graduate degrees in International Business and Business Administration from Queensland University of Technology and the Australian Institute of Business respectively.

Sophie is the Co-Managing Director and Co-Founder of Frontier Global Underwriting Limited. With over 20 years’ experience underwriting Financial Institutions classes of insurance, Sophie is a market leading figure in emerging markets business. She has developed a reputation as one of the go to primary lead underwriters in the Bankers Blanket Bond market. Most recently, Sophie held the position of Head of Financial Lines at a leading Lloyd’s syndicate managing a global portfolio. Sophie has a BA Honours degree from the University of Manchester. She has travelled extensively throughout Latin America, Asia and the Caribbean during the course of her career.
